LIFT
We can always use your help in lifting our community. You can make a one-time donation or become a sustaining partner with a recurring monthly gift of $10 or more.
INSPIRE
Have you seen LIFEworks around town? Thanks to our continued partnership with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and the wonderful folks at Converge Local, we've been able to get the van we use to make food deliveries wrapped and it looks great!
Here's what else LWP has accomplished in the last six months:
We've significantly expanded the number of individuals and locations we deliver to
We are Pantry partners with Walmart, Food Lion and Dollar General
We participated in Staunton Pride
We had our first volunteer breakfast
We held another successful H.U.G.S. Drive and made 30 backpacks for unhoused people currently residing in the encampments
We continue to partner with other organizations and in November, LIFEworks conducted a "brave chat" for Waynesboro Public Schools
FULFILL
We FULFILL the LWP mission of filling support gaps through a multitude of partnerships. We began food distribution in Staunton Fall 2022. If you would like to bring LWP distribution to your complex, let us know.
EMPOWER
LWP continues to issue microgrants to residents in our service area. To date, we've disbursed more than $5,000 to keep a small issue from becoming a catastrophe or to help someone get to their next payday without having to make a tough decision.
This assistance is available once a quarter, but no more than twice per year.
MILESTONES

We're also grateful for the continued support of Walmart and CAPSAW. Both organizations have recently provided grants that help us to extend our work.
